Barb Sculati has entertained and informed viewers on HGTV’s Decorating Cents as a designer creating room makeovers for less than $500.

A degree in Clothing and Textiles led Barbara to a job in the costume shop for Vee Corporation’s Sesame Street Live. After a decade of experience in the costume world, she turned her sights toward the world of home décor. Sewing one-of-a-kind pillows for retail eventually led to a business in interior design.

“I feel fortunate to have been raised by thrift-talented parents who raised a large family of eight children without a lot of money. I’m truly grateful for learning the art of ‘working with what you’ve got’ from them.”
